status-resolved What's up with the NP Bot invasion? (Update: They're not bots)

I was wondering if anyone can shed some light on what I believe is a recent bot invasion here on NamePros! I noticed a few new members, at Rahul Page, at Abbie Fernandes and at Rachel McDonalds seem to be bot members? What is the purpose of this? Who is behind this? If anyone can shed some light on any of this, it would be appreciated as it seems like a big waste of time and bandwidth, unless of course it's NamePros testing something out?

My apologies to any of the above named NP members who may actually have blood coursing through their veins and are simply a man/ woman of few words, good ideas or the ability to find an avatar!

That's exactly what bots do! They read through all of the prior information and come up with an answer based on the information presented previously. It's a simple math equation for a computer. Read through any of their posts and you'll see all of their answers are based on previous information in the thread or Google searches. There is absolutely no personality or emotion in any of their answers. She is the smartest of the bots though! Look at her with that big computer brain!

And lately that thread has been discussing bot names. If these NP visitors are up to date bots that can handle payments I can offer them some nice domains to give them a new home.

Well, i am so glad to see how people here "actually" want to know who i am.
if this comment gives you the surity, then i am a human being and no bot.
i am just a newbie in this industry and its not even a month since i joined NP.
And i am still exploring this forum as it is so vast and so much to learn
and definitely it does not feel good to be introduced here like this.
