What's the definition of good traffic?

If you've read any of the bodis threads you've undoubtedly seen comments about quality traffic.

Many of us are struggling to identify what is quality traffic.

For those of you who have been parking for a long time, can you please take a minute to let us know what constitutes quality traffic?

I've been parking for awhile and I don't think I've heard a definitive answer on what 'quality' traffic is.

I'm thinking, direct typein, search engine, links from relevant sites though.

I've not been parking very long, but from what I understand of it is that "bad" traffic is paid traffic coming from something like Adwords, unusual sources ie; countries that have nothing to do with the name, blocked or hidden ip addresses and lots of clicks that don't convert.

I'm assuming everything else is quaility traffic.

I know you were asking for comments from folks with more experince, I'm sure they'll post as well.

remember who

the customer is; the advertizers!. any kind of traffic they like thats "good" traffic any kind they don't like that's "bad "traffic.since all advertizers always think there paying to much they have every incentive to piss and moan about bad traffic in hopes of getting the price down or a rebate[heard of "smart pricing "at google?].So now you know why there is so much"bad" traffic.

I addition to others I think quite a few countries are included in the bad traffic section, not just because some are notrious for highering full time clickers but also countries with very low average annual incomes, which is at least half the worlds population, probably close ot 2/3 world population. Dont get mad at me this is the advertisers call.

I have a domain targetted to a city in USA. Traffic is type-in because there's no backlinks. And the revenue per click is only $0.24. Is this what the advertisers are willing to pay max for quality traffic?

From the standpoint of the advertisers I don't believe that quantity alone means anything. No matter what the quantity they want quality traffic that will likely convert to a sale.

aspect ".....how you know it's crying to get price down...how is it that "existing backlinks" are good but new backlinks are bad??? that makes lot's of sense.some guy looking at old blog post from 2002 is"good " traffic if he get's to your site cause he's lost. This is what happens when you apply logic to these "gospel "theories. it doesn't make sense !why? cause it is guy who's paying trying to get guy who is selling to give him good deal..say anything to get price down.Notice it only goes one way?..do they ever give bonus when site converts better?of course not.Just accept it's a big game they have to play.abc cbs,and google have to play the same game to keep advertizer happy.and guess what runs downhill.

Who defines "good" traffic? We, as publishers have no say in this.
We can &itch and moan all we want about what we think should be called "good" traffic, but the bottom line is each Parking Service sets its own standard. Read the TOS.

It is not a matter of how much traffic, it is about what converts for the advertisers.
5000 hits a day, 0 clicks, thats just sucking up BW.
