What's the best domain snatcher?

Hi!

I am just wondering, I would like to register a domain but that domain is already registered by somebody. The domain is not a registered trademark. In fact it has not been used for more than 2 years now.

Who can suggest the best option for me? It appears the domain is registered under Tucows.

You will need to do a whois search and get the owners contact details, then send them a polite email asking if they are willing to sell the domain. I'v recently done this, on an exelent domain... they wouldn't accept my offer of $1k though, they wanted nearer to the $3k mark . A 3 letter .com with massive potential IMO.

Depends when the domain expires as well. I've heard Tucows was either arranging their own auction on expiration or going to contract with one of the existing ones like snapnames or pool. If they do this, then there will be only one place to get it.
