I think the original is from icanhascheezeburger.com. I don't know if it's in house or if if there is a clone maybe? I searched google and found some posts by someone who was also trying to get some quotes for making such a script but that's about it.

Hi wondering if anyone can help? I'm looking for a couple of directory scripts using the google maps api.

Ideally I want to have a searchable database of for example companys (example: subsea.org) which people/and or admin can add to. Which displays a table of info of the company along side the map window showing there location. It would be ideal if this script had a map on the index page with points for all the entrys.

Any thoughts/ recommendations?

I suspected that the scripts where custom. Your link gave me an idea to search google for other keywords and found more information under "lolcat builder/script/generator".

One individual started an open source lolcat generator but it's just bare bones. Looks like other's have made their own on their websites too. Doesn't look like anyone is offering any for sale though. Might be a niche market item if someone were to make a nice script.

Are you looking for an article directory script? Or, are you looking for a script to use with another script you have that automatically approves articles?

But, after the info is entered, I want it to have its own page and also be alphabetized in a directory. So, a response that begins with "A" would be a placed automatically under that letter "A", and so on.

Is there a script out there that would do this for me, or at least most of it? I'm not even sure how I would categorize to look it up. Thanks for any suggestions that you have.

This could be implemented pretty simply, however, I doubt you'll be able to find a script that does exactly that. Someone would need to customize it for you.
