I first interviewed Doron back in 2016. Efty has grown by leaps and bounds since then so I wanted to talk to him about the new Efty Pay, releasing sales data, and what’s coming in 2025. Q1) Now that Efty Pay has been live for a bit, is the service meeting your expectations? Yes. I […]

From the interview:

"Efty Investor is the only aftermarket solution that gives you complete access to customer data."

Efty is not the only platform providing this info, though.

NamePros Parking is one of the solutions already providing tons of info; and even more insights will continuously be added based on feedback and suggestions on this forum.

We currently provide 5-10X more data than any other platform, including but not limited to:
  • ✅ Auto-Detected Buyer Details: View detailed information about your potential buyers alongside their inquiries, based on their IP address: their current time and timezone, location, neighborhood's average income and how crowded it is, ISP, hostname domain, connection type (e.g., Cable/DSL, Cellular, Corporate, or Satellite), the type of inquirer (e.g., residential, business, traveler, government, or college), whether they're using an anonymizing service (e.g., VPN or proxy), etc.
With more on the way.

Our hope is that this motivates other platforms to provide more data because then everyone wins. 😊

Atom also give you this data. What I like is they tell you when the buyer/potential buyer looked at the offer so you can tell if a lead is checking the sales/offer status page multiple times and at what times of the day to gauge how interested they are.

Not as extensive like individual visitor details, but their anonymized repeat visitor stats are useful indeed.

For anyone interested this is what you get with Atom which as correctly stated above is not as extensive as NP (which for some reason I thought it was 🤔 maybe I was thinking of NP landers and got muddled).

@D Haynes Thanks, and it's better than nothing... somewhere in between :)

Maybe @Bob Hawkes [who is this guy?] can write a nice article sometime about how the different marketplaces implement this, but certainly also how 'actionable' all this data actually is or can be.

Excellent point. We're going to add a relative percentile for the income data, which will make it a lot more useful. For example, you'll know if you're talking to a Top 1% Earner or a Bottom 1% Earner. That context is very actionable, assuming it's accurate. 😊

It would be nice if you could remove "Namepros" word from that landers.
I do not think it is a good idea to lead buyers to the forum where many domains are offfered for a few bucks.

There is an option to remove it.

Yes, when you pay and upgrade the account.
But even if you paid still a buyer can click the policy and will land on Namepros within a second.

It’s free with a VIP badge. You're close to becoming a VIP if that interests you.

Our banner is also being removed from all landers for everyone in the next update. No upgrade or VIP needed. 😊

a buyer can click the policy and will land on Namepros within a second.
You’re right. We can switch to show that in an overlay instead to solve that, but almost no one clicks those links except bots.

In our experience, even domains with our banner on their landers are still selling for hundreds of thousands of dollars. It’s been a nonissue, but the banner is still being removed for all users in our next update.

We’re happy to show our brand less and less if that’s what sellers want, even though our brand is far more recognizable and trusted than the other providers out there that are our size or smaller.

In order for our developers to see your suggestions, please provide them in our thread if you wouldn’t mind.

They love learning about new ways to improve our service. 😎
