I own the domain FYFN.com and I'd like to develop it into a profitable website. What would you do with a domain like this? What kind of website would you make if you wanted to?

Now, you didn't give any options that you are thinking about. You must have a list of choices in your mind. But the domain name looks like the abbreviation of some organization or company. so you can develop it into a small company, or some site doing affiliate marketing for a few products.

I was thinking about a family finance site, hence FYFN, but I don't know how to get a lot of content on my own frequently. I was also thinking of a financial news site but I face the same problem. I created this excel model to organize finances that I use everyday and I think it can help other people. Maybe this could be the center of the site? At this point I'm really looking for anyone's thoughts and what they would do if they were to create a website with FYFN.com. Thanks for your input.

Yeah make your self a full form of FYFN... and then publicize them with social networking sites...

and then you will see....

There are definitely a lot of possible roads to take this site to profitability. Have you made up your mind about what direction you are going to take? I am in a similar situation and am curious what paths others have chosen.
