If you were a webmaster selling domain names what would be the ultimate domain name for your website?

If you could get your hands on a 2 character .com what would you want NL or LN?

If a .jp domain costs retail 99.99 what would a good 3 letter be worth?

Three questions lets see your responses

Generally, "L(etter) N(umber)" ... as in "e5.com" verses "5e.com" ("NL" in the latter), IMHO.

Would you rather have a1 or 1a?

Although I have not searched all possible combinations, in terms of straight frequency of searches, and Google links, the numbers favor LN and there would seem to be more potential overall for the L to be up front. Two reasons for this: 1) Simply more possibilities to associate meaning w/ LN , 2) The tendency of cos. to assign product series beginning w/ L, ie Pentium 4 = P4, not 4P.
V8 or 8V?
B4 or 4B?
Some exceptions:
3X over X3
9v over V9 (9volt)
4H over H4

Also, personally, I like 4e over e4 and 4i over i4, where 4= "for", but that is more of a stretch w/ NL than w/ NLL (ie 4Dr, 4MD, 4Mr, 4Rx).

- There is a webmaster for every website - I'm confused? Any way Namemart.com is good enough - I happen to use ENamemart.com for a while - send me an offer if you want the name

If you could get your hands on a 2 character .com what would you want NL or LN? Mostly LN

If a .jp domain costs retail 99.99 what would a good 3 letter be worth?

99.99 YEN

markts, et al, you're missing the point.

NL was not meant to be read as "NL," nor was LN meant to be read as "LN"; these MEAN number-letter, and letter-number, respectively. Some _examples_ of this for NL are 5m, 2r, 9d; some examples of LN are j6, k2, a9.

Hope this clears things up.

I find all your suggestions very interesting

I was leaning towards the Letter Number combination and most of you concurr

I would still like to see more suggestions for the ULTIMATE name for a Domain Seller website, Already there is as we all know Godaddy Enom Registerfly ect ect But what do you think the ultimate name would be for a site such as the ones above.

I guess what your all saying is that a 3 letter .JP domain isnt worth the TLD its written on so to speak...LOL

Keep your suggestions coming.....

I think the ultimates have been hit already. Some "almost" ultimates might be:
name(s).com
address.com
website(s).com
url.com
dnservices.com
nameservices.com

and one of my favorites:
httpaddress.com (no, :hehe: ...not really)

and really outside of the box:
domain.name (no, :hehe: ...not really)
