What would be the best resource for finding free Wordpress themes/templates?

I´m looking for a resource that offers free Wordpress themes and templates.

I am experimenting with WP and for what i have seen so far with designs i have come accros i am quite impressed.
The blogs looked very nice and not at all as the basic default WP look.

If you know any resources with nice themes/templates please share them here

Thank you Colleen, i have seen your designs when i was browsing through the links on the site of Emily Robbins which includes a lot of links to free themes. Even though they look very nice it's not the style i am looking for.

I'm still trying to get a feel of Wordpress and getting to know it better and if i like it and am able to afford it i think i will probably need a custom design since i have a hard time finding a theme that i have in mind.

Would it be costly to have an own original look and feel Colleen? Since you are active in the design industry you would probably have a good idea on this?

I would browse threw the free database. Sometimes you find designers who's work you really like. I personally have fell in love with my current theme and really never want to change it. If you ever have WordPress questions feel free to PM me. I have a couple plugins installed to my site and would be glad to help.

You can try freelance websites and get a designer to do the job for less.

I am still deciding how i would like the design to be and what kind of features i would like to see but i think i already found the designer to help me create what i have in mind
What would help you the most if i would create a mock up for what i have mind for the look of my upcoming blog?

This way i could think ahead to make things easier from your side
