MMC bought the domain last year and plans to use that to compete in the country against bigger portals like Rediff (NSDQ: REDF), Indiatimes, Yahoo (NSDQ: YHOO), MSN, Sify and others

Does anyone know What did India.com Like sale for?

The Site has been revamped from a portal into Under Construction Now.

It will pit it against the likes of Rediff and MSN!

Mail.com the original owners were asking for $6mm a few years back.

They even tried to launch it as a standalone business but couldn't raise funding at that time, money must be easier atm.

Can't find any other report of this sale or even mention btw.

I know the previous owner of India (dot) com, i worked with him. i will check at what price he sold it
