What type of site is it!

I have a few questions. I have seen more and more domain names turned into quick, one page sites that show nothing but advertising or links to other sites. One good example, I owned CasinosPoker.net. Sold it a few months ago after almost no traffic for 2 years. Out of curiosity I typed in the name and found a one page site that has nothing but links to other gambling sites.
A ton of these have popped up lately.
First, is this easy to setup?
Second, how would I find out about it?
Third, does it make much money?
Any feedback here is appreciated, thanks.

The page is being parked, you make money from each click (depends which company they have it parked with). Try sedo.com or 1plus.net.
