What type of Advertising to put on an Online Game

Hi I am very new to this,

I have had my game site now for a while but it is recently starting to get a bit more traffic. This is very good but I would like some way of making money on it.

I have spents many hours setting it and trying different Ad Campaigns,

These include:

Clicksor - Good on 1st 3 Days but now 0.08 a click

Google-Alright but all Ads were on Games

Bidvertiser- Not enough.

CasinoBlaster- Nothing at all

Adbrite- Are good but need big hits for it to work well

So I am asking you which would be the best for me.

Also is there a way that I could choose Keywords instead of it being on my site content.

(IN the Uk so cannot get YPN)

Game site as in arcade? Adsense is the way to go for the most part, if your going for cpc. Could try selling your own ads if your getting enough traffic, that is always the best option if you can do it in my opinion.

I'd say Adsense is still your best bet, although I understand your concern about the competing ads taking away your visitors.
Adsense does have a competitive ads filter, and you might try using that to remove any ads that you find as undermining your site.
Or, use the adsense divide and place some text near the ads that might cause the ads to be on a different, higher paying, topic

Yeah Thankyou very much for the advice. I just felt adsense was not making enough would love YPN.. But not in the USA.

I am experimenting and will find out soon whcih is the best.

Anyone else got any views on this article?

AdSense doesn't work with arcades, my avg PPC was about $0.05 with adsense.
You could try Oxado, it works a lot better with my arcade sites

Hey thankyou for all your comments. I have since changed back to adsense and am also using Adbrite Network Ads. I am going to put a bit of money into advertising maybe $1000. I was thinking of doing this with adbrite. Does anyone have any other ideas or places I should but advertising Space.

My CTR Rate has increased since I changed the design and layout of my Ads.

I apprecaite all your comments and look forward to hearing more.

go with adsense, you said all the sites are about games - you can block the game sites you dont want to show on your site.
