Sometime back ... in 2002 I made a word called Techcellence dot com (Technology + Excellence) after days of working on it. The name was available for dot com registration when I checked on internic whois and go-daddy and I was on cloud9. I decided to register it and even purchased a credit card for the purpose thinking of starting a venture out of this name. The next week after getting my card, I sat to register it and the name was still available on internic and go-daddy. I clicked register now and cursor kept rolling for 5 minutes after which alas! the amount displayed was 5k USD and said this "it's a premium name". Rushed to check with internic whois and it said its taken. lost hope and quit. From then on I think twice before registering good made up words.
