What is the importance of 'green' word in domain name?

some people are selecting 'green' word in their domain names,why? what is the importance of this word in domain name? how to select this word in domain name? is there any other words like this? what is the importance for those words in domain names? how to select those words in domain names?

The word "Green" has been adopted as the expression for Ecological friendly things. IE - Green Electricity would mean electricity that has come from clean sources like Wind, Water, Solar, ect.

Green Energies and companies are exploding as the West becomes more Ecologically considerate. Green domains are hot amongst domainers and sell well. I recently registered one and I almost never register domain names.

Some companies are adopting, changing or including green colors and names to the marketing stable. I just did a tradeshow that had a UPS display booth in "green" colors. I did a double take.

I recently grabbed my first green name as well. I have a green "hit list" I'm waiting to act on soon.

In this case, hes reffering to the company UPS - having a Display that was green at a Convention / Trade Show. The "Display" is basically the design of the booth.
