What is the best tool to use to evaluate a domain before buying...

So i saw a domain name i think is good and i want to buy it. What is the best tool to use to evaluate it..in terms of google PR, Alexa ranking, etc..and what are other things to look for. Please honest and simple answers will be appreciated. Thanks. And sorry should have posted this in the domain beginner forum..no link to delete either.

yeah, if you don't use your brains to analyze domains, then any other metrics can be meaningless.

as "common sense", being a rational function of the brain, seems to get missed with many of the posted requests for appraisals or opinions of domain names.

the domain should make sense, if you hope to make cents

imo....
