Anybody know?

We want to TM our domain name, which is also our company name in the US.
It is already TM'ed in Singapore but we are moving into the US market next year and Im guessing it's probably a good idea to have it TM'ed there as well.
It is basically to protect our company/domain name and our in housed designed and manufactured products.

Anybody done this and have an idea of how much it is going to cost?

Any info is appreciated.

To TM in the US is roughly $300-350 if you apply for it yourself. Check out USPTO.GOV to file online. If you're looking for a lawyer, it'll probably cost $1000-1500...

You might want to do some research on the Madrid Protocol. This essentially allows you to register one TM, which is then valid in all of the 100+ participating countries. If you're only looking to do business in the US, then maybe just getting a US TM would suffice.

You also may need trademark monitor service which may cost you xxx to xxxx annually.

Thanks for your input...
Looks like I can file under the Madrid Protocol which will give us protection in all the countries signed up to it...
Whew! Not as bad as I thought.... :>)
