What is a good CTR

Would like to know what is considered a good ctr? I have an adsense site that gets about 130 to 175 uniques a day and the CTR runs around 13.70 to 15.20 would this be considered as good? or do I need to do more testing? Thanks

adsense usually has 2-3%

that ctr would actually raise some eyebrows at google

I think google woudn't mind as long as youre not violating their policy.

that is a high ctr unless the site is totally adsense centered i.e. built especially for adsense ads (which is not something google likes).

never mind. I have 30-45% CRT, if your visitors is natural , then you should be fine.

Thanks the site is an information site with articles and videos. It has been moving up on the search engines I am now #7 on google and #3 on yahoo for the key words. I went back and looked at the monthly average it was 9.4% to date for this month. not to bad for only 3 month old site :hehe:

ctr depends mostly on how targeted tour website subject is, assuming you have targeted ads

this will certainly hold true if you are runing adsense

if you have a broad subject like weather, music, news, health your ctr will usually be less than 1% and often come in at around .5% ctr for very high volume sites

but if your site is niche and very targeted, say on tires, cookware, kites, or running shoes then you may get the higher ctr being discusses / quoted here

my info is based on billions and billions of impressions spread over 10 years and across many ad platforms and different websites

Lot's of variables here but I been parking for 4 years and traffic and CTR is usually between 15-30% for non-adult and 25%-45% for adult range.
