What if...You owned the mother of domains

What kind of direction would you have taken if you had been fortunate enough to register the prized domains, TV.com,Sex,Money,Realestate, etc..
Where would you be now do you think? And what would you have done to continue in this business as a highly recognized domainer.:tu:

It's quite hard to bring about the kind of development that premium domains like these deserve.
So it's no surprise that so many great domains are parked.

Now if you owned domains of that caliber, you could get some nice change by selling them now, not then.
For example tv.com sold for 7.5K or 15K in 1995, can't remember. Obviously it would fetch much much more nowadays. I'm not sure my path of life would have been totally different anyway, unless I built a fully-fledged business around the name, or sold at the right time

At this point in my life, I would just hold it on for as long as I can and then just sell it to the highest bidder. If I develop it into something crappy, it won't do the domain name justice.

Especially 15 years ago...

Sex.com was and still is a joke, if the people who hadn't simply dumped it on a parking page had done something real it would be worth so much more...

It allegedly makes 7 figures a year parked... why waste time doing more? I'm not sure it's really a joke.

I'd have sold out by now and I'd be drinking margaritas! And top-shelf at that.
