What do you think about the elections in iraq ?.


I think it's a start for something that can be better or or something that can be worst.

I think it's good that they have elections, but it's just too unstable right now to have an election, IMHO.

I personally think that Bush is a little too rushed. I think he rushed into the war and now he is rushing out of it.

Saying that though, he is under pressure by the public because before the war most people wanted to go to war, yet now... people think differently. I was surprised to see he got voted back in again though!

I was shocked also, after you seen soo many people complaining about him you would wonder how he won the election again.

So Mr. President how do you feel about the war on Iraq ?

G.Busht: Well I believe that you have to get rid of the evil and show the others that we are a strong country that won't take nonsense from others and that um um um um ............................. (Ohh $^%* what was I going to say) and that um our stands on Iraq soil is needed to to to to to.............. (Ahh F*$& not again) to show the world that we are a strong country.

Mr.President why is it that you always have a 30-120seconds interval before replying to my questions.

You know what I also hate when he keeps on moving his hands around like he is orchestrating an orchestra and not to mention AGAIN the way how he delays his sentences he always has to think a min or 2 before answering.

you know many many people have compared him to monkeys... I think that is harsh on the monkeys.

Accutally, I think that if you put a monkey in his shoes for a day, the monkey would do a better job of running the country! heh heh

Going back to the election, I didn't acctually hear about a SERIOUS event. I heard that serveral people were found attempting things and 16 people died or something, but that is really not bad! I thought something BIG was going to happen!

 

[The Equivocate]

Considering the turnout was well above what they projected, and there weren't any serious attacks, I'd say the elections looked to be a success, even if they were a little "early." But I think the idea is that the Iraqi people being occupied by a democratic country and may have resented America so Bush wanted to show them why democracy is a good thing as quick as he could. Or something, I don't know, but that would be one reason to hold them so soon.

I think that also it is making the Iraqi people feel more confident in their country. Trying to make them feel like they will eventually have the security to go out and vote for their beliefs without the threat for an attack!
