Just watching sports on tv and 'test match' was mentioned
and found it to be still available. What do you think of TestMatch.mobi?

Hi onassis

a test match is usually when rugby teams play each other in competition, a term also used in cricket

TestMatch.com looks a decent site, reg'd in 1998. I would try to sell it to them.

It worth 500USD from what I see now. :bingo:

i'm fairly happy with my reg of this name, though somewhat shocked to see such a low overture on it.
The name might serve to cover test matches, in either rugby or cricket, betting application, or simply to update scores.

I know India and Pakistan are keen followers of the cricket, as are the English, Irish, Scottish and Aussies about their Rugby!

think testmatch.mobi is gold

my first thought was the world cricket market (esp thinking of India here with .mobi technology)

other football codes would fair well too

It is interesting to note testcricket.mobi was only regged in march of this year!.
I know it's not related to testmatch.mobi at all, but it makes you wonder why the cricket world hadn't stumbled across these names earlier! ( I know it's big here in Australia)

My best name in terms of PPC earnings was regged on February 28 -- it receives more traffic than my landrush acquisitions... It's always nice to find some that slipped past the hungry domainers :tu:

If cricket in another term is testmatch that will be worth 500 USD for me. :yell: Even I only know testmatch meaning yesterday.

Which name is that Reece?

Could it of been that too many eyes were 'fixated' on overture/google results at the start of landsrush (when regging names?)

ubersexual. My next 2 best are peitos and vagins. Obviously none of those 3 would strike you (or me, for that matter) as A+ names, but these 3 names collectively will pay for themselves and another 15 renewals at their current earnings, next year.

I think it's exactly what you said -- people were fixated on Google/Overture scores and ended up missing out on some names, which may not necessarily be high overture, but have mobile applications (top 3 are "adult"). Ubersexual has 83 views in the last month -- pretty unexpected when it has an overture of 159 LOL :)

Ubersexual 83 views "wow" and nothing nothing to do for it but view your daily clicks go up!- not bad at all! I'll have a look at what Ubersexual has to say for itself on google!

Apparently it's some kind of "buzz word" like metrosexual. I read in my newspaper that Budweiser was trying to appeal to the "ubersexual man" back in February and thought, what the hay :tu:

I'm not exactly sure on what to do with TestMatch.mobi at this stage. I keep telling others to develop their site, so I might go ahead & do just that!
Provide some cricket/rugby links for ppl! Any other thoughts welcomed!

reece has a lot of insight and knows exactly whats going on! kudos to you man! names the APPLY to mobile do not necessarily need high ovt as past results do not reflect the future of mobi users. Keywords are king for seo but if it a name doesnt really apply to mobile then what is the point ? Lots of names are in the cracks and crannies waiting to be found. I find so many but have to reign myself in from buying all the time.

Thanks VisionEdger :) I'm still working on understanding the needs/wants/desires of the regular mobile web user. As you said, mobile names definitely don't need a high overture and may actually have a low overture because they're really only relevant things to search for if you're on a cell phone. I'd expect maps (especially precise ones targetted at smaller regions or cities) to be far more popular on cell phones, i.e. perhaps with some of the cell phones now including GPS technology, someone will develop a site which provides accurate maps that can be downloaded and synchronized with GPS software?

I'd expect review sites to be wildly popular also -- check out different hotels while on your flight, then book your room and have it ready by the time you arrive ;)

I've noticed supplements of the steroid or Viagra nature are getting alot of hits also. I'm under the impression that customers view mobile phones as more personal and as a safer place to make purchases or engage in behaviour (in the case of adult content) which may be deemed unlawful (buying certain steroids in Canada is illegal) or inappropriate (don't want the wife to find out about that porn addiction).

I have no clue what other "secrets" we may find the average mobile user likes to "surf on the privacy" of his phone, however I'm confident that there are probably some mobile applications out there that really don't seem mobile to us domainers, but will make perfect sense to some regular users down the road.
