I have registered a few names and am looking for value. Not sure if I want to develop a site or not. My area of the US is very much in the natural gas drilling boom.

NortheastNaturalGas.com
and
NaturalGasRights.org

I forgot to mention I also own NortheastNaturalGas.net and NortheastNaturalGas.org

NaturalGasRights - This is a decent domain as a .com, but by the time we get to .org the value is too diluted. I wouldn't expect much to happen based on name alone. If you develop it will people come to the site? Absolutely.

NortheastNaturalGas - This has a direct relation to the industry, very easy for a corp to use and rememberable. But the market is very niche and I think finding the buyer may prove difficult.

Just as an FYI I would not reg com net org all in one go as a rule when looking for resale value. Each domain is judged on its own legs. If you are a corporate owner you want to reg every extension. But as a domainer you only want to reg the best possible name, at the lowest price, and then sell it for profit.

Thanks for the advice. I think I may develop some base information about the regional drilling. There has been massive land leasing going on and people are calling this a very large natural gas play.

Gas companies are leasing thousands of acres. The starting rate just last year was 25.00 - 50.00 and acre. Now we are seeing 2k to 3k per acre and very nice royalty money if they tap a well on your land.

I think if I develop something on the name northeastnaturalgas.com and drive some traffic.. I will have something then.
