Do you think there exist any other uses for the domain ?

The World Cup is protected by intellectual property registrations. Therefore, in English, I would not consider registering any domains containing the term World Cup. I expect the same applies to the Spanish version.

I don't think there is a problem about "protection". El Mundial is a generic expression, also it is used for café, pizzerias, etc
