What do you think about .CC domains? (Such as Spare.CC , Tail.CC and bxd.cc)

A keyword must be absolutely premium in this ccTLD to be worth anything, at least at this time.

I have one .cc: Social.cc, with one high $xxx offer (rejected).

NNNN .cc's are picking up; the Chinese market seems to like numerical .cc domains, perhaps less restrictive than their own .cn and close to it in meaning.

Still, I wouldn't invest heavily in this ccTLD, at least until you know what you are doing.

The Chinese like .cc, both numerical and alphabetical. But I get no visitors and no inquiries on about the 20 .cc domains I own, and have held for some time. So at just under the $20 a pop for renewals, I'm seriously considering letting them all go at the next renewal. If you are a beginner, I'd stick with .com first and your country ccTLD next.

Depending on what is as Ms.Domainer mentioned... they can be worth a few bucks,
but as stub mentions, they are expensive to maintain and the revenue doesn't always cover the renewals.
Luckily I only own two of them now - Wendy.cc and Charles.cc

I pretty much got rid of all my firstname .cc domains a long time ago (dropped not sold). I only have 1 left marilyn.cc. I'm about to do the same with all my firstname .ws domains. There just isn't a market out there for these domains.

.cc domains don't find any demand in market, hence its difficult to sell them at desired cost..com domainates the market consistently.

I believe the numeric and short .cc have a big market in China.

Taken quite a long break from domaining and just been getting back into it recently, so not sure what my opinion is worth, but here you go; I'd hold on to them, or look to register new ones related to the growing cryptocurrency market. Bitcoin, being by far the most popular, has exploded in popularity over the last few years and appears to only be getting stronger. The communities surrounding these are generally quite tech-savvy as well and can see value in strong and memorable domains, whether for investment or trading themselves or simply the aesthetics. This leaves a lot of room for keyword development, I think. I don't own it, but exchange.cc is a good keyword in itself and, for this particular market, very easily brandable and memorable as a platform for trading cryptocurrencies.

As I said, slowly easing myself back into domaining after a several year break, but would be nice to hear other people's opinions on the above. It won't happen overnight, but I think it could be a fairly successful marketing campaign for the .cc extension.

Anyone else for .cryptocurrency?
