What do you Know about Article Submisions

I have started my Blog on Cloud Computing and will be writing Articles now and then and have some others write articles for me.

My question is how effective is it to submit these articles to article submision services. Does it help with SEO and page rank.?

Has anyone here had any successwith article submission?

Where should I be submitting these articles?

Submit them yourself to the major article directories (ezinearticles, go articles ...)

PageRank and SEO: IF people publish your article (or it appears in the article directory) and there's a live link back to your site without a "nofollow" on it, it will be an inbound link like any other. How much good that does you depends on the PageRank of the page the link is on.

Of course, if multiple people publish your article, some instances will be deprecated as duplicate content so the link won't count for much (if anything). And there are stingy people who remove the link/credit box from articles even though it's generally against the directory's terms of use to do so.
