Question for Article Friendly directories owners

I have a question for owners of owners of article directories powered by Article Friendly. I am active article marketer and I am submitting my article to various article directories including those powered by this script. Unfortunately, when I try to log in after some time I get very often this error message:

Invalid username/password or you are not an active author!

Well, I am using correct username and password so I guess the problem is that the script marks me as an inactive author. My question is how does it works? Are users who do not post new articles for some time automatically marked as inactive? What happens, it the author is considered inactive? Stay the articles together with his resource box on the website or are deleted?

I think to be an active member you have to add articles in a consistent manner.
