What exactly do you want comments on?

I see a forum which looks like a default phpBB installation with a half header, some categories and forums added.

Just have to make a quick comment about the main site too. 'featured.html' has a javascript function to resize the window to 1280x768. IMO that's REALLY bad thing. Also, I would remove the adult ad.

It looks like a pretty basic phpBB forum to me :O

Try going to www.google.com and searching for phpBB skins You can find some pretty cool and VERY EASY to use skins! Also check out www.phpbbhacks.com for some very mint mods like Birthday hack, and store hack.. pretty much anything! A better layout looks like a more professional look and more catchy to eye. Be carefull on what layout you use (if you choose to). Base the layout on what audience you are targeting on the forum

Agree, many different themes/skins available, find one which is nearest to what you want and modify it a bit to get an original look.
