What would you consider an old domain? a 1993 reg? 1996? 1990?

Also what year was your oldest domain regged and did you reg it...?

I will start..
I would have to say I would consider an OLD domain to be anything 1995 or older, for a dotcom that is pretty old....

I have a 1996 regged dotCOM, I also have a 2001 regged dotBIZ which is pretty old considering sex.biz was regged in 2002....

I regged neither the 1996 domain or the 2001 dotBIZ, both were aftermarket purchases...

My oldest domain is 1993. Old to me is 1998 or before, although I don't put much weight in it.

Good Guess. I have others in the same time frame though, that just edged out a few others.

I didn't know it was in such high demand. Although I do have to say I did expect a 1993 domain with so many uses to go a lot higher. My proxy was way higher than the final price.

I have the opportunity to buy a year 1987 domain, but apparently I missed a deal ... dang! :'(

Mind sharing what the domain was?

I had an opportunity to purchase the oldest .com in existence (Symbolics.com), but the current owner mentioned that another trademark holder of the "Symbolics" was threatening to sue if he sold the name. That was enough to scare me away.

To bad :hehe:

my oldest is a 1996 7 letter two word brandable domain.

I consider anything before 2000 to be pretty old.

The domain I missed is your domain now :) so you know which one it is.

I did sent emails to those domains might for sale from no.1 oldest, and there's no reply/or "not for sale" so I ended my inquiries before that name :'(

Mind sharing what you won it for and the venue you won it on? Just mildly curious.
