at least six months ago i sold a LLLL.com for another NP member

he paid me correctly and i asked for his accounts information as he bought more than one name
he provided me all of them but dynadot's and i noticed and asked for it
some months later he PMed me telling me i forgot to send this specified name to his account (it wasn't like that); i explained him he didn't send me that information then he sent it and i pushed the name on august 26th (almost four months ago)
until today he didn't accept the name in his account

the point is... this name will expire in three days
how do i proceed?

i think you need to renew it on his behalf since it's pending then charge him the additional renewal fee.

Contact him one last time explaining that the domain name is going to expire within a few days. Then, you "should" let it expire.

However, if It was me. I'd renew it just before it was about to hit redemption. I would give him a "grace" period that would be the same length of time until the domain would go pending delete.

Thats what I'd do.

renewing is not that big of a deal. at worst, the deal won't go through and you will still sustain, what probably is a good domain.

these things happen. looks like an honest mistake. don't worry, you'll work it out ;)

Sounds like a lazy buyer. Cover your butt. Renew the name and take Spade's advice from there. You have to notify him once you renew it. You should give him a grace and charge him for the renewal.

If he is a good client, pays well, is a NPs member in good standing and is potential future business ..... well you know what to do. Renew it and hold it while gently reminding him that you have "saved" the name from expiration and ask to transfer w/ out mention of the additional fees you incurred.
