How is the best way to judge expired domain names and available domain names that have backlinks and indexed pages etc for traffic

What criteria do i look for in expired lists

Say i have found a available domain name that still has the following

1.2,000 yahoo backlinks

2.4,000 pages indexed with google

3. A Alexa rank of say 4000000

I am unsure on how how much traffic this domain could get if any, Are there any tools or criteria i could put in place to gauge approx traffic?
