I use Joomla, which has SEO options and also there is a great video script called Seyret which I currently use on www.Jolted.tv.

I think drupal is worth looking at also, ive been told this is more efficient than joomla and more professional, although there are less templates and components available for it at the moment.

You can connect SMF to joomla using a bridge or use the joomla forum which is fireboard.

Ive been using Joomla for years (and Mambo before joomla came into existence), so if you have any questions about it, feel free to ask.

Was going to suggest EasySite from tufat but I see you want something different.

I've never liked commercial CMS' I always found they overly complicate things include way too many featured that arent goin to be need, so took the route of building a simple one myself although I can't find the script any longer

I like drupal best, it's a whole lot easier to use than joomla (IMO).

I found the opposite. Drupal Also has less Available Modules, Plugins, Templates and Support than Does Joomla!

What CMS to choose?
The best way to really know is to use them all, and learn from the experience.

for a comprehensive reference, i'd check www.cmsmatrix.org

Personally, i've been using Joomla for quite some time now, www.AmericanPilotCenter.com and www.PilotCenter.org as references if you'd like to see what can be done.
Joomla's learning curve is medium to advanced in terms of challenge. However, once you got it, it's as simple as stealing candy from ... yeah...

Anyways, Joomla - my hands down favorite.
