What are 4 letter domains worth?

As the title suggests. I'm interested in purchasing a 4 letter domain name. Dosen't really mean anything but i've heard a few people on msn use the word? It turns up 16,700 google results....

Would it possibly be worth more than the registry fee?

it depends on the combination, whether the letter makes up to the dictionary words or what..good luck..

Well it's in the dictionary as a landmark and turns up 53,000 sites in google.

I personally wouldn't be paying much for it, i'd see it as a more "standard" domain then a "quick get it domain". All comes down to how much the domain name means to you. Shorter is normally always better.

A 4-letter domain that's also a landmark and a common msn word (like ROFL) would cost you waymore than regfee.
