I dont think it would be worth the bargain if you are only planning on using the name. Why not develop it to make it better priced? But still a .jp wont be worth much

That is a very bad name to resell! I don't think anyone would be interested in registering it :imho:

the name is too specialist UNLESS you have a particular interest in the subject area to want to develop, then it has some 'cool' value, otherwise take the .org which is available. martialarts.jp ... now that might be worth regging..
