I've found a 5 letter .jp that would be considered a dictionary word. Would it be worth the reg fee to grab it?

I dont think it would be worth the bargain if you are only planning on using the name. Why not develop it to make it better priced? But still a .jp wont be worth much :(

That is a very bad name to resell! I don't think anyone would be interested in registering it :imho:

the name is too specialist UNLESS you have a particular interest in the subject area to want to develop, then it has some 'cool' value, otherwise take the .org which is available. martialarts.jp ... now that might be worth regging..

Not worth it !!! If you have a huge portfolio, it's okay to take such chances... else best to stick with .com, .net and .org.

................................>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Japan was a British rock group, formed in 1974. The original members were David Sylvian (original name David Batt), Mick Karn (original name Anthony Michaelides), Rob Dean, Steve Jansen (Sylvian's brother, Steve Batt) and Richard Barbieri. Japan began playing glam rock, influenced by David Bowie, The New York Dolls and Motown. Japan debuted on record with 1978's Adolescent Sex and subsequently Obscure Alternatives, which both sold well in the nation of Japan, though nowhere else. Their third album, 1979's Quiet Life, heralded a change in musical style from the earlier largely guitar based music to a more electronic sound, with more emphasis on synthesisers and Karn's unique fretless bass sound.
