What a goof ...

OK...

So I'm sure many of you have had the same problem w/ godaddy in that they will let you reg a name only to pull it later with the generic email notification. Well the same thing happened ... but this time with a twist.

I regged a .DE name then proceeded to park it. About 2 days later I got the email stating the registration had failed. Yet the name is still in my parked account and has been there for a few months now. It sees traffic and rev.

I figured the name would have been removed. Or the servers reset. But they are still pointed to my parked account.

LOL .... WTH .... I feel like I should contact the owner, godaddy or my parking srvice. Or just delete it but if it's still pointing to my account SEDo would just get the traffic and rev. (small)

What would you do?

Hmm let me guess what happened. The .de registry requires that you provide at least 2 working name servers for .de domains, and they must be in different C classes. I would guess that since the requirement was not met, they cancelled the registration.
Did you check the current whois at denic.de ?
