Domain sale story. Nice roi.

Figured since I have read a few stories I would share mine. I registered a domain at godaddy for .99 with a coupon. I parked the domain and 2 months later got an offer. My one dollar domain I sold for 250.00. Here's the better part. The company paid for the domain and then renewed it till 2018. Then they also agreed to leave it parked for me making me income still daily. My roi will continue to grow till 2018. Also domain makes 25 to 50 month Rev parked. But why did you sell a domain for $250 if it makes $25-$50 per month parked?

I sold the domain because it was a tm risky domain. Besides guaranteed $250 with few years parking rev no cost for renewals seemed like a good option to me and relieves me of the tm risk.

How much traffic did it get to make 20-50 a month?

around 200 to 250 visitors and 80 to 100 clicks. Over 40% ctr on it.

i go through bodis, parking crew, voodoo, etc. I have a 20 to 25 % CTR overall for every domain I have parked even as a whole.

Very strange story. Why would any company buy a domain, not use it, park it and let the proceeds go to someone else? Does this company own the trademark?

Well from what info I got from the who is there name is in the domain. Parking company shouldn't care they own the to and domain. They can leave it parked with name servers unchanged all they want. Maybe they are hoping I'll build back links for them. Who knows.
