I like acupunture.info, it's a great find. It could easily be resold and would be the ideal one to develop.

Can you be a bit more specific? The typos were intentional as the correct spellings were all taken :td: As for hypens, what is so bad? I have found they can sometimes generate more clicks depending on the name. As for the TM issue you were a bit vague, but I would guess you are referencing to the Disney name? Heck..I dont feel so bad scince I registered them all for.88 a piece, and I will make my money back and then some+++ :) :)

Cheers

Thanks for the replies thus far. Acupunture so far has generated the most hits, as a mispelling it shows up on OVT and Acupuncture is and decent keyword.
At .88 a pop it is worth the gamble. hypens are a funny thing, sometimes they generate more clicks then very loooooong names without breaks.

Cheers!

i wouldnt buy typos for info names unless the correct spelling is a major .info site and u are generating a lot of traffic. the disney name has a major TM problem. i would never put a hyphen in the middle of the word like in dis-ease.info, it makes no sense and noone would type that in. acupunture.info is worthless since it is also a typo name.

movies-on-demand.info is the only name worth more than $0 but still not worth a lot since its a double hyphen info name.

Sorry to burst your bubble ,but some of my most profitable .INFO's are double hyphenated names
Example
www.cheap-injury-attorney.info
www.refinance-mortgage-tips.info

Both of these earn over $20 per month (Not bad for $2 reg. fee)

"thats what I'm talking about" :)

The naysayers will have an opinion, fine. So far the opinions tend to sway in that direction. But as I have learned one must take risks not conjecture in absolutes. Hyphens arent always bad, even double hypens. I am taking less of risk registering 25 names for $22 than $75 on an obscure TLD. Either way its a gamble.

I did my homework, and all the names registered including the "typo" have high OVT and/or google rankings.

I look at it this way, several of the names have already made a 200% return in only 3 days.

I had hoped this would be a supportive community and for the most part people have been, but---why the haters?

Acupunture isint worthless. It is a mispell but I only need one click to recoup.
506,000 for "dis-ease." The great thing about domaining is there are 1001 ways of doing it. What one person wont do becuase of rules they set for themselves will mean more opportunities for me.

About fell off my chair when I first thought advertisment was advertisement! Even so, you'll make some steady income. The problem is that type-in traffic is 90% com. Perhaps on a mini, you can use keywords to capture the search. Wish I could offer more on dollar value for info typos, but I can't find enough to base an informed opinion on.

most of those are definately worth what you paid for them -acupuncture and comunication -> by the way if you wanted to be very popular if comic relief doesnt get a huge amount of trafic you could maybe donate it to them; may get you a little kudos?

also a nice find:

.....

Thanks for that tip. I will donate either way, as it is a wonderful cause. :)
Thanks verbster, mini site on a reseller account with a free template is the way to go on a couple of them.
