Just lately begin buying domain again.
I am not sure either the process is changed or I did a mistake.
Sometime ago I did domain catch using Namejet, Snapname in Pending Delete for old aged domain, BUT even though the drop catching process was working well, but when it change ownership to mine, the WHOIS info is recreate as if new domain which actually already 9 yrs old domain.

Does it the new policy or because I choose Pending Delete domain?
If I catch Pre-Release probably the old WHOIS info still intact?

Please anybody knows about this issue, let me know.
Looks like different than several yrs ago.
Thanks

A prerelease in an expired domain that is auctioned by the registrar. So if you purchase it it will not drop and keep its old creation date in whois.
On the other hand a pending delete is a domain that is about to drop so it will lose its old registration date... you need to check the status of the name you're bidding on :)
