Timeline when Registrar deletes domain for invalid Whois.

I suppose this is the best place to ask my question since it's not about expired domain.

I read that if the whois info is not valid, then you can file a complaint and if the whois is not updated with valid info, then the domain will be deleted. What is the timeline for this process? Does it go through a grace period, redemption period, pending delete and then drop?

AFAIK there is no timeline or standard process.
When you report a domain name at Internic they will forward the report to the registrar who in turn will attempt to contact the registrant, usually by E-mail which is not always reliable.
If there is no response some registrars like enom will put the name on hold so it will stop working. Then it may be put in redemption status but they could delete it at once (looks like godaddy did that more than once...).

Well, there is somewhat a "standard process" (whatever that means). But the
registrars do somewhat have a timeline for trying to get the registrant to fix
their domain names' WHOIS details based on their agreements.

It's all up to the registrar.

Do they send the email to the Admin-C or the Registrant's email ?
(can be different)

If they are to be quick deleted (cancelled), will the name appear on drop lists?
And would a snap catch a quick delete?

AFAIK, the email will be sent to the "Admin Contact" email listed in the whois. What happens between this time and the time it becomes available, is all blur to me.

It's all blur to everyone since no two registrars are required to adapt the exact
same process for addressing invalid WHOIS issues, other than what their ICANN
registrar agreements say.
