Has anyone recently tried to use "Website" field in Google Adwords External Keyword Tool? It looks like it doesn't have effect at all - the same keyword set is returned for a phrase, regardless whether this field is empty or some (even completely irrelevant) website is entered.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong? I used to filter keywords by site in sktool and it worked like a charm, but unlikely it's gone.

Hi,

Is this a toolbar for the site to target the right keywords.

Thanks to all for replies!

I have to clarify a bit - the problem is not that Keyword Tool doesn't show keywords for a site, but vice a versa, it shows the full bunch of keywords for completely irrelevant sites.

Steps to reproduce:
Type 'glass vase' (or anything you'd like) in main input box, then type some completely irrelevant site in Website field, e.g. microsoft.com (you may even enter some 3 page mini-site with the same outcome). Click search. You would expect to see nothing, but nope - there's a full list of words, as if Website field was empty. It's just not taken in account.

In sktool I could easily get up to 800 keywords specific for any site (not only mine) based on the phrase I entered. Now I can't.

P.S. I highly doubt that Microsoft deals with glass vases a lot.

better to get the keywords suggestion manually. that will best for the increase the website traffic. if we are using this kind of tools some times showing this kinds of errors.
