The WDT skin is not 'unique' to WDT. It's a vB skin avialable to purchase on one of the vB skinning websites. :)

What a ripoff, though. Its just an "er" and a .com away from WDT. Not nearly as many members, though!

I have recently emailed the admin of WebDesignerTalk.com and the fourms is becoming apart of my network. I am currently making a new skin, so it doesn't look like these forums and the forums themselves will be getting a look over. I would hope that their will be no battles over this in the future, as I hope for Web Design Talk and WebDesignerTalk.com to be to great sites for people to get help. Isn't that the reason for these things, to give people help?

Thanks,

You may want to make sure they are running a legal copy of vBulletin because I'm sure you wouldn't want them to be part of your network if they're running illegal software. I know they were running an illegal copy at one time and I wouldn't doubt that this is the same copy. I don't think you would want to invest your time and such with something that will end up hurting you more than it helps you in the end. All I can say is just like with anything, do your research research research. Just a little warning, take it how you'd like. :)

Thanks for the advise, I'll have a look at the software and if it isn't legal we'll use Invision Board. I'd prefer not to spend the money on vBulletin when you can get Invision Board for free and is just as good.

Thanks,

Is there some way to check this by just looking at the site or do you have to get a copy of their license to see?

You would need to see a copy of the license to know for sure.

Right, that's what I thought. So verifying that might be a problem...
