I know there was a time when the i prefix was really hot. It seemed to slow way down, but now, thanks to iPhone and Company...it sees to be gaining popularity again.

But I was kind of surprised when I ran into iWrong.com being available. I quickly changed that fact and now own my second i prefix domain.

Any thoughts of potential value on this one?

Thanks!

Mark,

I personally am a fan of the "i" and "e" prefix. (as is BonkersTwo). In this case, its a little sticky, because of the keyword "wrong". Consider the following:

Internet Wrong
I (as in I am) Wrong

If It was the second - it ideally would be ImWrong.com (which is a parked page). However, I like it because its one of those very 2.0 domains, thats easy to recall and easy to spell. It could almost be like an "oops, what'd I do?" type site.

Resale? Limited... perhaps $15-30 ish...

I still like the i and e prefixes, and now the x prefix a lot, but their value on the market is spotty. A killer keyword, of course, like ipoker or icar
or isex etc. is going to have a large value; but with less-killer keywords the value is very hit or miss, depending on who sees the name, what it means to them, a variety of things.

In this case, I don't feel 'wrong' is even a medium-value keyword, it's a message that would really need to be explained to people before they'd have interest. You'd literally have to convince them it's good for... teaching to spell? Criminal law? Maybe adult taboo site? It's a real stretch and no clear meaning.
I still come across a lot of these kinds of keywords with one or all of the prefixes on them, but don't really touch them anymore unless they're a viable product, some item or service which I feel strongly may have some use.

I'd have to value anywhere from 0 - $50. Sorry about that, but nice try.

Right on the lines of what I was thinking. The i=internet thing seems to be in the minority anymore. I personally liked the play on words the iWrong has. And yes, it is easy to spell and remember.

I prefer the thought of no clear meaning. To me...it just opens up more doors of possibility vs a single clear cut path.

And no need to be sorry for a well thought out appraisal. That's what I asked for. It's not like I'm gonna :'( :'( . I wasn't expecting someone to say it's worth meeellions of :$:. :hehe:
Appraising is quite a tough thing to do. Nothing is set in stone. Most of us realize this fact. Ultimately, the beauty of any domain is in the eye of the buyer.
