Hi friends,
I've been reading the posts for a while in the forum.I'm a student from INDIA and i want to start my domain reselling business.
I wanted some advice on that like which registrar to choose, what all are the costs i incure? Which payment processor to use?
Mainly i want to sell domain names to individuals and to resellers with a competetive price.
I've made some research and i've found enom and directi.com.(if u know anyother registrar who offer almost same price, please do suggest)
Which one is better?
I found a post on ebay for enom $6.95 reseller account:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...item=3096381154

Shall i buy this? is it a good deal.He claims to be a direct ETP.If i buy this $6.95 enom account from him or someone, is there anyother deposit or yearly fees i'll have to pay ?
And from this account can i create $6.95 sub-reseller accounts under me?
In enom, from this account, what is the minimum amount for which i can sell the domains? I read somewhere that i can't sell domains for less than $8.95. Is it true?

Any other $6.95 (or less) enom account offers from direct ETP are welcome. Please PM me.

Anyother advice on this business is also welcome.
Thank you in advance!

Enom is the easiest and relatively cheapest reseller out there that offers a bunch of reselling options. Directi is the cheapest, but offers scattered support, and long wait times for domain account transfers (internal ones) from what I've heard.

Re: that $6.95 Enom account -- that would be the best way to go, but you need to make sure the seller is really selling a direct ETP account. Most likely, he isn't. Search the NP forums for more info on this...

Thanks pal! The information helped a lot.But if i buy a $6.95 account from a direct ETP,then will i be able to create $6.95 accounts under me?
And how will i make out that the reseller is a direct ETP?

Hi there,

to answer a couple of your questions. I have an enom 6.95 account and it has been one of the best investments i have made. It is only worthwhile though if you are going to be reg'ng a high volume of domains. You can reg all of the generic TLD's for 6.95 with some being even cheaper.

The cheapest reseller account you can create though is 8.95 but you can create retail accounts at 8.14 although there is no profit to yourself in this due to the way the charges work on retail accounts.

If you are reg'ng a lot of domains for yourself, what I do is reg them in the 6.95 and then push them to a standard retail account that I have with enom. This account is directly under enom so if my ETP disappears I still at least have my domains.

Good Luck

Nobody but eNom can create $6.95 accounts. You will not be able to create anything but $8.95 accounts. Right now you can't tell who is an ETP and who isn't but in the near future you will! :hehe:

Good idea if you don't know who your ETP is.
