1) Adding Perfect Meta Tags
2) Adhering Limits (such as less than 30 characters in a title)
3) Manual Submission (not through clients)
4) Speed Optimization
5) Automated submission on 6 Top Social Sites for each blog post (through ifttt)
6) Regular Pinging/sitemap re submission
7) Frequent Updates

First Add a good Meta Tags, Headers, Perfect ALT Tags, Sitemaps for Google, Yahoo, Bing and User. Then after do some search engine submission activity. These are quite enough to show your website using your brand name.
