Hello,

Is vvvv.us worth more (or even less) than reg fee? I was thinking of listing it for $195 at my landing page and at market places. Any comments? Waste of time?

PROS:

- 4 repeating letters.
- "vvvv" is taken in 124 domain extensions.

CONS:

- Nexus restrictions (outside USA)
- Letter V not very popular
- .US is not doing that good

No, or they can, but risk losing them (Nexus restrictions as mentioned).

Under .US nexus requirements .US domains may be registered only by the following qualified entities:

- Any United States citizen or resident,
- Any United States entity, such as organizations or corporations,
- Any foreign entity or organization with a bona fide presence in the United States

But you can always "use" your american friend / colleague...

It may be taken in many extensions, but how many are developed ? How many possible end users ?

I agree that .US is anything but hot. VVVV.com was sold a year ago for $22K, but it's like comparing a Skoda with a Bugatti Veyron. Or something...

I will list it for $195 and see. I've sold worse domains than this.
