Hi, please appraise my domain names and let me know how much you think they are worth now/could be worth in the future by creating a website etc.

Thank you.

Domain names:

VolunteerIn.Eu *
Sextape.Kim **

* For this one I plan to create a website and a paper handbook providing useful information to current/future volunteers. Website/Handbook would have different sections for different countries. We would also have some interisting and changing content such as interviews with current volunteers, useful information such as bus/tram/train information (websites, phone numbers). Each handbook would be dedicated to one country, website would have different sections for each country. There would be an option to receive a PDF file which would look exactly the same as a paper handbook. All, website, pdf/handbook would be called VolunteerIn.EU. Also not sure how likely for this to get a EU funding, will try to check once we will have a pdf file of a handbook (this will be sent in the newsletters/will be available to download on the website). So far this is all just a brainstorm idea, have not done anything, but would have some people who would help me out regarding this idea, plus have some people who I could get in touch with regarding information on EU funding. I am a volunteer myself.

** No actual website, not interested in opening an adult website. Would be interested in parking, selling, somehow increasing traffic in other ways. Kim stands for Kim Kardashian and therefore domain has a meaning, with appropriate SEO it would be possible to have a really big traffic.

Welcome to NP

There is no value in the domains on their own. I would read, read and read some more before registering anymore names. Check out namebio.com and dnjournal.com to give you an idea of what names sell.

good luck

First of all, first domain was registered because me and a couple other people thinking of this particular project. And we might launch it, this is a new domain.

Second one is good for search engines, I already receive traffic even so there is no decent page, domain was not mentioned anywhere, is quite new etc. These two keywords together trigger a lot of search results.

Thank you for your welcome, but next time please base your opinion on facts.

I also see no value in these domains. It's good that you have ideas and want to develop sites but I would do it with different names.

I'm guessing that your domains are parked at either sedo or godaddy, which do not filter traffic well, if at all. It's probably bot traffic.

My advice is to get rid of these and start again. Good luck!

I also suggest you remove the dislike you gave @gilescoley.

You asked for an opinion and he took time out of his day to give you one. Giles is trying to help you and I think you should be grateful, even if you disagree with him.

The first one could have value as a website if it was developed but the domain itself has no value. The second one, even with traffic, could put you in legal trouble if you're making money off of Kim K's sextape without permission. I recommend researching prior sales to understand which domains have real value.

Wasted money. $0 .

You want facts - put them here on auction or "make offer" and see how many offers you will get.

I can bet - they'll be 0's.

You want facts and you don't believe us - pay for auction at SEDO.

None of them were purchased in order to sell. I am not buying domain names just so I could sell them and nothing else, just wanted to hear your opinion. I see now I received more responses, so thank you for your time.

Nice way to thank us by disliking our posts.

Not a good way to introduce yourself to the forum!

I made thread to hear opinions from those who had something decent to say, not to make friends.
Those who deserve likes will receive them, quality > quantity.

And who's gonna give you their opinion in future when this is how you act?

Welcome to my ignore list, you are the only person on namepros obnoxious enough to make it there.

@Wincrew first of all welcome to the forum and have a great time here learning
and sharing while having fun.

My advice regarding public appraisals has been always the some. :)

Since I've started domaining, one of the most important rule was not to ask for a public appraisal.

Smart investors will look for the domain online all over the place, especially forums and they will find
the public appraisals. I can guarantee that having appraisals on public display it can hurt your whole negotiation process.
Also people tend to be subjective and at the end of the day your domain worth what a buyer is willing
to pay for it.

On the other hand if you don't know how to price your domains the best thing that you can do in order
to get an insight on how low and/or high you can go with the prices, is to contact someone with more experience in the industry in private.

Hope it helps, wish you the best of luck! ;)

Im afraid they are facts, the names are worth nothing on their own, you can tell that just by looking at them and without googling the words. The extension are also an issue, focus on strong extensions.

You cant say this name is valuable because I have a development plan for it, there is a lot of work involved and it will cost you money as well to set up the site. Once all that is done and you have made a success of it, then you can place a value on the domain (and site)

As for plain reseller value, there is no value in these names

As @Wannabean, said, a simple thank you would have been fine, people are giving you free appraisals here and we really dont have to take time out of our day to help you. Feel free to go to Sedo or Godaddy and pay for an appraisal if you want. If you ask for appraisal, you have to accept the good one and the bad ones

I also suggest you don't "dislike" peoples posts, whether or not you admit it, everyone wants to be accepted in community forums so dont say you arent here to make friends, everyone knows that is total rubbish

Good luck in the future
