I know some of you will tell me that it's TM'ed by Microsoft but there are too many products out there that are called VISTA plus the fact that it's a very general term and can be used for almost anything ( like Amazon, etc. )

Your best bet, check www.uspto.gov for existing TMs regarding "Vista" and then base your development or keyword selection when parking on your findings. Yeah, but vista.com has nothing to do with Microsoft. So, I'm assuming that if they didn't go after them - they won't go after the vista2.com owner.

You have no trademark problems with this one because "vista" actually means "chicken" in Latvian. So if microsoft approaches you, just say that you had Latvian chickens in mind...
