Hello everyone.

I registered this domain name because I liked it and I would like to devolp it (a blog about Berlin, Berlin hotels, places to visit and so on)

I was just wondering if anyone like this domain name and if it could be brandable.

What do you think about it?

Thanks as always and have a nice day.

I like how it looks for sure. Wholesale value isnt high, most domainers dont pay a premium for .info. However developed I think it could do very well and would be of interest to the travel industry. Wholesale $5-$10 End user low xxx.

Good luck!

I have a similar domain: TravelFrance.info, and I do agree with Ben42. I'd recommend you to try developing it...Not easy to find a deep pocket enduser for .infos(...)

Thank you very much for your answer.

Yes, I'm going to devolp it, I don't want to sell it, just wanted to know if the domain is a good one =)

The domain is nice :) I love geo domains even (if they are not exact place names...)To be absolutely honest, if you like traveling or learning languages, cultures etc...geo domains can get your project going. The good part about geo domains in .info is that they make perfect sense and gives you enough room for development.

Thank you :).

Yep, that's also why I am working on devolp it, since I lived many years abroad and enjoy other cultures (I'm Italian).

So thank you again for your input and feedbacks. Have a nice day!

I appreciate u very much my friend, because .INFO's hit very low in market but i love .INFO's personally and i love to develop it. Developing is not a easy one, so don't give-up in any sort.
All the best!!
Thanks folk! :)

Decent domain but not an easy sell. Developing is the obvious option.

Looks like we're still on this "if it isn't a dot com it's not worth anything" which is absolute rubbish.

It's unfortunate though that some registrars keep the value of infos artificially down by offering cheap registrations.

We have a similar problem with dot biz's which i like. The valuate or estibot appraisal (which is not a true indication) of a com i have is $670,000 and the biz is $15. I mean, come on, get real!!!!

The last info i sold on sedo recently was for $250 which was an offer. I know it's not xxx,xxx but not bad for a dollar reg fee. VisitBerlin is a nice name. Don't forget, the value in the name is how much someone wants it and how much they are willing to pay for it, no matter what the extension.

I agree to some extend, however, the market does not show much interest for .info domains so despite several high price .info sales .info domains are going cheap. For example, three letter .info domains can easily be found i the low - mid $xx range.

The domain in question fits the extension very well, but will probably not go above low $xx to a reseller.

Yep, I totally agree. I like this domain name, and I am devolping it because I see value in it. I also think that the dot .info totally fits with the subject.

Thanks for your time, have a great day!

Check out the competition - com and org are parked

visitberlin.de
visitberlin.org
VisitBerlin.mobi

There is one person in Norway who owns a huge number of visit+placename domains. Some places the state has trademarked visit+keyword domains.

Ideal for development but not likely to get a high price for it because it's a .info, the westsite is looking good so far :tu:
