Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

I brand in Islam (theres a subtle difference to this than Islamic Branding which I won't get into on this thread :D). From my perspective Halal VR (HalalVR.com is taken but VRHalal.com is free btw) is perfectly acceptable. The danger comes in it's implementation as some end users may abuse the site or misuse it.

But I do not think there will be an issue in Virtual Reality and the Religion in a global sense. Certain markets may have sensitivities but when countries like UAE have halal beer and advertise with imitation of drunken douchebaggery you don't need to worry much.

Islam and VR has huge potential but I don't see big potential in end user sales. Saying that, whoever goes for VRHalal. com can double down on Vacation Rentals which is another emerging market that Muslim travellers have a necessity for.

Hmmm thanks for that. that article shows potential for "virt" + 1 to 3 letters combo.com seems like "virt" is catching on. Glad I caught a bunch of those. Who else? Let me be specific. Not "vir" ( sorry guys) but "virt".

I think that PS will higher standards for their games than this. I doubt that they would allow bullshit "demos" on their systems. They've been at gaming for long enough to know what gamers want and what will PISS gamers off....

But then again, I may have too much faith in PS to get it right as a gaming console company. I just know that gaming is their focus...not "experiences", so they HAVE to get vr gaming right...

I read somewhere that they will have 100 titles when PS VR is released....I find that hard to believe but let's see!

seems like a few people are hijacking this one and others I have seen in the past who used to post here don't bother due to the rampant posting of u know who!

yes its become a venue for a few who think its their own personal thread to spout off .

ive seen traffic on here drop a lot lately and I miss hearing what others with the experience, talent and actual proven sales have o say cause they get buried by posts with little value that are simply vanity posts imho.

That is Sony's stated goal. And I expect they will make that 100 but let's put some perspective on it.

PlaystationVR is not set to release till Oct-2016. 6 Months from now.
By the time we get there, there will be twice as many good titles that work with the Rift and Vive without counting the exclusives that may be supported by a HMD MFG. You are coming up to the x-mas season then. Everyone will want to be at market by oct/nov.

Many of the titles will be a exclusive for Sony, but the problem Sony has is with the developers.

Everything that works with Sony does not work with anything else. Developed separately.
Most of what will work with the Rift will also work with the Vive and minor changes for some.
Just the shear number of everything not Sony will attract more Dev's with Rift, Vive & OSVR and yet possible for StarVR and FoveVR to be on the market by the time Sony gets it's product out there. And that is providing they do not delay again.
And since they have a 90hz refresh requirement that is very hard to do on Sony's platform, they will have a harder time maintaining growth past that with the Dev's. It's just a lot more work to get those effective refresh rates. You must review your code heavily. But hey, it's not hard to make 20 versions of PONG if needed. They will make that 100 by Oct.

They should have made a good PC HMD and then made a new Playstation to work with that.
They are spending a lot of money and chasing their own tail with this HMD and PS4.5.

I really don't expect anyone will believe what I'm saying about this for about a year.
It's a shame since I have always liked Sony products. But this blunder of theirs is going to hit hard.

I like these. even though they are too long but I shouldn't talk since I do have long domains too. I saw PoliceVR.com and FirefighterVR.com wanted them but of course taken long time ago. but who knows your long tails might bought down the road same thing I'm hoping for my long tails.

everyone and anyone is more than welcome take over anytime here. no one can really hijack an open VR forum. if I leave. then it will just go back to all the people who have complained and they can again self promote themselves as I have been doing here. here's what I think. There are alot of VR domainers here and before I came along they have benefited from self promoting themselves and their VR domains in this thread. perhaps even getting exposure for their domains and their auctions simply by mentioning their VR domains in this thread and then simply redirecting their VR domains to their auctions. lets be perfectly honest. the BEST POTENTIAL BUYER for any VR Domains is probably someone IN THIS THREAD reading these posts because we eat sleep and breathe VR domains.

So you can all complain that I'm hijacking or distracting this thread as "You know who." but I could easily sit here and jump on any one of you people in this Thread just out of spite because I'm jealous of your VR domains or whatever other reasons. as they say. There more new VR domains inventory the more dilution of value for all domains. Even if the new inventory is crap like mines it can give or distract potential buyers. but in a free and open market competition BREEDS SUCCESS. So instead of complaining about little old me with my VR domains? Why not INSTEAD use that ENERGY to step up your A Game. because if a newbie like me with my pathetic posts can "complicate" your business in this thread? Then well you are not bringing your A Game. simple as that. that's just simple advice. If that offends anyone here? well then I can't help you. If your A Game gets ruined by my posts on here? then your A Game is weak. nothing I do should EVER complicate anything in your plans.

Domaining is like Boxing. And you guys basically want newbies to have their hands tied. with one hand you extend to help out newbies. but with thee other hand you swat them down when they jeopardize your own goals or domains.

Let's get back to talking about VR domains. drop your best VR domains. if not? then don't complain when I do. simple as that. it's sad that I had to clarify that. It should be self explanatory. My motto? kill them with kindness and then double up. Good luck to ALL.
