Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Alcy, you are right.
On the other hand, i think we should let a person that register tons of awful names know that his names dont have a lot of chances.

yes but let's do this in nicee civilized way. not by laughing in his freaking face or saying there is exactly nothing left worth regging. which simply is not true. :)

to say thrre is nothign left worth regging you need:

1- a crystal ball to predict how vR unfolds, which startup or whatever will want which domain in future...

2- a list of all 100% names left to reg. which absolutely no one on this thread has. and I do mean 100%.. because to say words like EVERY or nothing.. you need 100% complete list.
if you miss one word in the whole wide world.. it still does not make it EVERY hehehe

anyway.. keep digging.. still good keywords left.. but do be careful. a lot of is just plain waste of money. good luck

Got another offer today for a vr gay domain.

VRGayDating dot king

Couple of hundred dollar offer but ofcourse this is not enough for me. :-,

Excellent news for my vr(unmentionable word of three letters adult)dating.com

I am convinced that still will come out new opportunities for beginning domainers now vr.

New terms, new applications, new products are coming out, just have to wait and study ahead.

Yesterday reg a domain that I have not published, and probably never published in the thread, which I am convinced will be invaluable. Six magnificent golden letters.

Saludos,
Mario.

look no harm done reaslly I'm sure your decent personality.

you just need to think before you type. to say every hand reg is not worth it.. or nothing left to reg... or you are laughing at every new reg you see.. is just stuff you should bite the tongue and not say.
I have said this many times in this forum...
"If you don't want to hear others thoughts on names you post.... ...don't post them".
All is fair when you do post them. You can't pick and choose what you want for feedback.
BUT, You can pick and choose what you post.

The quality of names people are posting here is starting to get ludicrous.

At this point it's time to realize that every decent available vr name has been registered, and if you are still hand registering names, the only reaction you're going to get by posting them here is laughter.

I think there are still domains available to hand reg but I agree the premium domains were gone long ago.

That being said I hand reg'd vrlivewebcams.com only 2 months ago and received a x,xxx offer.

A couple of days ago I reg'd vrpokerlive.com. Is it premium?No

Is it something I think I can sell for a profit?Hopefully

I think Cordoba has a point.

It's better to be told honnest opinions than get high fived for crap names. I got told some of my domains were crap early on. It made me make better decisions I think.

You newcomers really should invest in a handfull quality names instead of picking up any name that pops into your head.

You can still get nice names for a few hundred dollars.

I think it all depends what you class as big keywords i suppose - 'Industrial' is a huge keyword, i believe that got registered the other day by someone on here, so those kind of keywords are still out there.

Another reg i saw on here recently that i really liked 'MartianVR' - Maybe not a big/brandable keyword in other industries, but in VR it's different, so what is a big keyword? Obviously words like 'mobile, games, sport' are massive, but i also think you also have to open-minded to what is a big keyword in Virtual Reality.

There's a way doing it though mate, I remember someone making a typo on here a few weeks ago, i can't remember what i said, but i did reply to them saying that's a 'typo' in a respectful manner.

Using words like 'ludicrous' and how you are laughing at what they are registering isn't the best way to go about it.

For sure. I mean I registered "HitlerVR" a few days ago. Is Hitler a big keyword? No

Do I believe there will be historical VR experiences about Hitler in the future? For sure. I base this decision on the fact that there is an infinite number of those documentaries running on TV right now.

For an end user looking to sell lap tops, kitchen utensils or car insurance "Hitler" might not be your best bet for a domain name. But in VR it makes sense, at least to me.

But some names posted here are low quality outside of VR and just make no sense at all inside of VR.

Yeah, no need to push people down. I don't think that was Cordobas intention though.

i saw your vrlivewebcams got an x,xxx offer + vrlivecams got sold in 5,000 +livewebcam was sold for 50,000+ the reason vrlivecam wasnt sold yet is that the seller cant be reached (wrong mail ) = i just registered VRlivewebcam .
i guess when you will sell your VRlivewebcams i will start getting offers for mine .

it think it will sell :) , and when it does i'll remind cordoba about i ;)

Had to check, still available.
Would make a nice site to showcase all the domain names in this thread that will never be sold.
vrsuckers dot com....
hahahhahaha

whats still available ?

whats still available ?
He is trying to say that a lot of the names here won't sell and he wants to buy VRsuckers dot com to showcase all the names he thinks we're a waste of time registering.

My opinion, it's still early in the market for VR names. I think lots of names have the potential to sell at some given amount if they are held long enough.

got it . if you are being foolish and just start registering you will get shit .
if you try to understand the market, research, make lists ,look at previous sales (also VR sales ) you can still do well .
and i say that even though i just started domaining a month ago
just like every other business- hard work , acting fast , being creative, learn from mistakes etc etc..

We have had 538 pages of people posting their VR regs in a mostly nice manner. We haven't had anyone being really rude to anyone regarding their domains. This is a showcase thread, not a feedback one. People are allowed to spend their money on whatever VR domains they want. A friendly "I don't think that will sell personally" might suffice, but an all out attack on someone else reg is simply not on.

If you feel that someone's reg is not up to your high standards, and you feel obligated to go on an abusive rant. Stop. We don't want this shit here. If you find that the standard of regs people are taking and posting here are ludicrous, simply ignore this thread.

Everyone is entitled to make mistakes, but rudely blasting them publicly is downright offensive.
