Virginian.com...What would you do with it?

My father-in-law owns Virginian.com and has for several years. He bought it to use for his dumpbody business but he never really has. He now wants to sell the domain and is getting me to do that for him but I think if we developed it we would be better off. I don't think he will get much for it by just selling, he is expecting something around $20,000, which I don't think he'll get.

If you had the domain and lived in Virginia what would you do with it. Sell it or develop. If you were to develop it what would you develop it into, I have though about a real estate site but I don't know.

I certainly would not sell this one for less than $20,000, I would develop it into a large Virginia Information site. Tourist info, real-estate, forum, demographics, camping, employment, etc. There is a GREAT amount of potential here to sell local advertising.

Wow, you should put it on an auction. I though many domainers would like to catch it.

Virginian is a nice keyword with a not small search volume, mortage or news about virgina are good choice for this domain.
