Hyper - it would be interesting to see the layout for some of your sites where you are getting anywhere near a 10% CTR. My average CTR for English sites is more like 1%. For Spanish sites, they tend to be easier to rank & the CTR tends to be higher but the PPC is much lower.

The site used this template for PHPMelody: http://www.phpsugar.com/images/thumbs_tpl_all/index/full_ruby.png, with two ads on per page. CTR can be improved by changing ad colors, there are few discussions that I read, on how larger companies get more CTRs (those discussions is where I narrowed down to the theme).

PPC is related to keyword. My site was #2 for a product related keyword that sent me most traffic. It also used to get some # of unique hits every day. My guess is, the keyword is giving my site a higher PPC.

I am sitting on maybe 150 .TV domains, many of them product domains ( that's the affiliate marketer coming out in me ) , but many that are niche based, such as FilmNoir.tv , Westerns.tv, etc.

Now, I -might- have enough cash available to make a run at developing one or two of those domains in a way that placates those that look down upon any type of development as an inferior move - unless it involves 10s of thousands of dollars - but that still leaves the other 147+ that as an individual I simply do not have time to work on. Heck, in addition to a day job ( 45+ hours a week ), I have an online business I work, my wife built a gourmet chocolate store I help with in the evenings and weekends, I maintain 30-40 affiliate sites, I do 'dad' like things, and 'husband' things to maintain the home, etc., lol, a schedule that I believe most of us can associate with. Time is a factor as much as money.

So, Epik's project, in my opinion, is worth a look see, a nominal investment, for the potential which I see growing with that company. Are they going to end up splitting revenue from my site 50 / 50 ? Well, yes. And, what would that revenue be without their involvement? Nominal. Do they have resources that I would never have the ability to afford on my own? Absolutely.

Satellite.tv's ranking has fluctuated at yahoo and bing. For a while, when it was high on the first page of those sites, it was pulling in $5-$11 a day, and all I had done was put up the wordpress template 'prosense'. Once it got bumped back down, it was receiving $1.00-$4.00 a day - and it was nowhere to be found on google. If Epik can get the site ranked decently in google, it has some serious potential.

Just my opinion, but .tv owners need to take a serious look at this company.

a day job ( 45+ hours a week )
This is the important diff ^^^^ between you, others and me! I am sitting idle for past few months looking for a Job. I just gave the no-cash, work for yourself route!

Yes, if you want to go beyond domain flipping on more than a few domains, most of us just don't have the time to self-develop dozens or hundreds of domains properly. So it would be useful to hear the experience of other individuals utilizing EPIK's services - what percentage of contracted sites made it to page one of Google vs Bing/Yahoo, how high, ROI, payback, etc.

Hi Everyone!,

I'm the guy that owns Paranormal.TV and is working with Rob and his team.

Although there are a lot of cheerleaders in this industry, Rob is a rare breed in that he understands the under-pinnings of business and groks the potential of web development across different domain verticals.

In this case, .TV has always shown promise, but it's been a tough road to hoe for individual developers. Rob and his team are the first ones to stand up and tell the world that they have a better way for the average domainer to make something of their domains. Kudos to them!

When was the last time you heard someone talk about: "An opportunity to combine content, community and commerce around segmented online video channels using the .TV TLD."? AND have that someone be a person who was lining up premium access, product portals, link and content juice from similar sites, all tied back into a sweet seo package?

All for under 600 bucks? If you have, send me a pm. :hi:

Just my four cents!

the whole pointo the thread is that someone believes .tv is worth developing into some form of store , it's the first example of this i have come across

That is funny, someone actually believes .tv domains may be worth developing into a store? Headline "Man likes .tv, first case ever reported!".

I guess though when the company is trying to sell you that store it may not necessarily be advice that is in your interests.

Let us know who this has gone for you in 12 months time. Not much point repping them without actual revenue figures to post.

Probably 1999, I think you likely to find it isn't as simple as some template sites, $600 and minimal work.
