Yahoo was always the better brand/name.

Yahoo is one of the most memorable names out there.

If anyone remembers the golden age of Internet, Yahoo was bigger than Google. Today the owners have to figure out how to differentiate and offer a product that would attract Google users. They can do it to a certain extent, but there is threshold or a peak that they can't seem to exceed.

Oath’s defunct; one of the worst rebrands ever.
Verizon sold AOL + Yahoo about half they paid

What was that Oath rebrand even about? Boggles the mind! Their sites were obsessed with telling you they were called Oath every time you visited it but for no discernible benefit.

Is it even possible to reintroduce a failed brand and make it successful? I somehow doubt it. Look at Verizon selling it for half price. Personally, I would want to rebrand away from Yahoo! They are not even using the domain Yahoo.com but are using YahooInc.com They should buy a catchy name first. Try to get away from why they have been failing for years. IMHO.
